The picture to the right is of the living room and dining room, taken from the inside of the house. I'm not sure how close our layout is to those used in William Ryan Homes but I like how the placement of the windows allows light to fill each of the areas in the house.

Our OFFICE - Crown Molding, paint, and new floor in the office project, begun Jan. 2005.
The Living room also being redesigned during FEB. 2005.

Front Yard re-do on 2/10/2005: old, dead plants were removed and replaced with new lavender, blue fescue, and Coleonema sunset gold, the redwood chips refreshed, and new plants installed in the flower boxes (Verbena) and where the large climbing red one used to be is now Cape Honeysuckle. I also plan on replacing the failing Gardenia with some nice roses in those large pots at the front door. The middle flower box was bolstered a little and does not sag any more. I'll have to install some sturdier and permanent supports this summer though. I covered all of these with some fresh primer, 2/13/05.
2/19/05 roses acquired: a Hot Cocoa floribunda and a Peace Rose hybrid tea, from Sloat Garden Center in San Rafael.

Roses -- pruning floribundas, from the Marin Rose Society.
